When you plan your wedding, think of Piping Connections to give it a sense of occasion and tradition.  We know you want your day to be perfect - after all, you only plan on doing it once.

We can offer you three levels of service:

Playing at the wedding venue before the service, and piping your wedding party in and out.

As the Bronze, but also welcoming your guests at the reception venue, by playing on their arrival.

As the Silver, but also piping in the top table, and making the traditional toast.

We will always do our best to accommodate any request (with say, certain music or alternative arrangements).  As venues, arrangements and playing times can vary, we don't have set fees for our services - but prices start from around £140.  For this, you will get a friendly, immaculately turned out piper, with a well rehearsed repertoire and years of experience.

It is not widely known that the bagpipes are a living, breathing instrument, which plays differently under different circumstances - depending on temperature, humidity, and whether outdoor or indoor.  We only have players who are adept at playing under different circumstances, and know how to adjust their pipes accordingly, to ensure that you get the best from your piper on the day.  We also ensure bagpipes are regularly maintained, in order to produce the best tone from the instrument.

You will normally see Piping Connections at Wedding Fairs in and around Edinburgh, the Lothians & Borders.  We take the time to go to Wedding Fairs and speak to couples about their particular requirements for their big day.  We also have a workshop, where all clients are welcome to visit in order to discuss what they want from their piper on the big day, or hear the music they would like played in advance to make sure it is right for them.  Can anyone else offer you this level of service?  We think not, and pride ourselves on offering a first class service to all our clients.
